A Message to SEPTA Riders and Phillies Parade Celebrants from GM Joe Casey

This would have been nicer to hear maybe 3 days ago. I’m still disappointed in you SEPTA, hopefully things will improve for situations like this in the future, like, say, a real emergency.

European Walmart

This place is like the European Walmart — except far classier and cooler.

When Bissy and I were in Naples visiting Ginny, we stopped here towards the end of the trip and this place was so cool, it was unlike any store I’d ever seen, with an aisle full of awesome European candy and other fun foods. They also had huge aisles of European home appliances and electronics, the differences to American ones were subtle, but the changes were still interesting to see.

The mall it was located in was also awesome, named Vulcano Buono, and was a giant red circle that was really cool to see at night. It had a bunch of cool stores, most of which don’t exist here in the states, but I did come across a Nike store with a bunch of cool soccer stuff, but the Schwarzenegger-like strength of the Euro versus the American dollar killed me.

If you’re ever in the Naples area of Italy, I definitely recommend a trip to Auchan.
