In my testing of Minefield (Firefox 3.2a1pre), I have come across a few innovative steps in the right direction, and I think that the one above is my favorite of all.
This should be implemented in current Firefox builds ASAP.

I have so much respect for professional photographers. The time they take to edit pictures must be insane. I just processed about 30 pictures (RAW format) from a recent campus event and it took me at least 2-3 hours to do everything. Who knows if they are even an improvement on the JPGs taken alongside the RAW files…
