Pretending

Married To The Sea has some pretty hilarious comics, some of them remind me of the pictures that used to be on CAT/TerraNova tests, which is awesome in so many ways.

I want to race Usain Bolt… in my car.
He’d still win.

I’m not sure if this kind of viral marketing will make The Rocker perform any better or not, but it’s been hilarious to follow along with.

In keeping with the Olympic trend. Usain Bolt is by far, one of the best runners I have ever seen. Down to his emulation of Michael Johnson with the golden spikes, he can compete with the best.
Never have I seen a runner make the 100m look so effortless.
Hats off to you Usain.

In keeping with the Michael Phelps trend… he is one of the most impressive athletes of all time. 8 gold medals is in one Olympics literally unheard of… until now.
Congrats Michael.
Just what’s on Michael Phelps’ iPod anyway?
this is a bit of an (expected) letdown.

Holden Caulfield Is Full of It
The Catcher In The Rye is the worst book that I have ever read. Holden Caulfield is a horrible protagonist whose delusions of grandeur ruin what could have been an excellent story.
Hands down.
I’m not sure why I kept reading along, I guess I hoped that it would improve and live up to the hype that it seems to possess. I found his constant complaining to be rather bothersome (it appears to be rubbing off on me, but this must be said) and that his rationality throughout the story was absentminded at best. Oddly enough, I now plan to read One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, which will also be presented from an uneducated/less evolved background. I hope it proves to be more exciting than Salinger’s efforts.
